RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATION CLERK

Danroc has an opportunity available for a  Receptionist/Administration Clerk who will be efficient and professional, with excellent communication, telephonic and administration skills for the company. The position is based at the Head Office in White River.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum: Grade 12
  • Ideal: Certificate/Diploma in related field
  • 1 Year relevant reception/switchboard/office administration experience
  • Strong financial skills
  • Computer skills such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Pastel etc.
  • General administration skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Professional discretion
  • Self motivated, innovative and proactive

 

The candidate must understand the unique challenges and opportunities within modern agriculture and be willing to work in a rapidly changing environment.

 

Although the post is available immediately, the company will be negotiable on a suitable starting date. The position offers a market related remuneration package.

    HORTICULTURIST/AGRONOMIST

    Danroc has an opportunity available for a  qualified Horticulturist/Agronomist to join their Technical Department. The position is based at the Head Office in White River, however the candidate will be required to travel between various farms within the Lowveld.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum: BSc/MSc Qualification in agricultural field
    • 1 – 3 Years experience in agriculture, preferably with R&D (research and development)
    • Experience with Subtropical Fruit
    • Expert knowledge of orchard management
    • Expert knowledge of research methodology
    • Macadamia and Avocado experience – an added advantage
    • Strong technical skills
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Highly analytical
    • Attention to detail
    • High level commitment to accuracy and quality
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Self motivated, innovative and proactive
